History

  • The initial concept of Vykarian began in 2003 with the goal of creating the biggest and best game art factory in the world.
  • Vykarian opens a small studio in Shanghai in 2005 and begins recruiting key staff and management.
  • The small studio moves into the current Vykarian HQ and starts to expand rapidly to meet the demand of AAA game publishers and developers.
  • In spring of 2007 Vykarian expanded to a second studio in Nanjing, China.
  • In fall of 2007 the Shanghai studio grew to over 100 artists.
  • In summer of 2008 the Nanjing studio will move to a larger facility to accommodate its growing workforce of over 50 people
